Journey through Musical Storyland, where children’s favourite fairy tales and traditional folktales are re-imagined with magical music performed by musicians of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
The BBC have designed Musical Storyland especially for non-specialist teachers delivering music in the classroom. Musical Storyland is suitable for any age, created to meet EYFS and KS1 music curriculum learning objectives.
The films and accompanying Teacher Notes can also be used to target objectives from the Key Stage 1 English curriculum, particularly relating to Spoken language, Reading and Writing.
The resource includes films, story synopsis, vocabulary and introduces a range of instruments.
